Unique interior. It was comic book theme. This place is small, probably seats about 12. Inside is clean and bright, and friendly staff. Bergers were unique too. There was lamb berger and deer burger. I had wagyu berger. It had sauteed mushroom and onion and creamy horseradish sauce. The sauce was little too strong for me; little too salty. But it was juicy good burger. Juicy messy burger = delicious! My husband had original Juicy berger. It was as good as wagyu so next time I'll just order Juicy berger and maybe add cheese. There were variety of cheese: American, cheddar, Swiss, pepper jack, blue, brie, smoked Gouda. Fries were good and it was thick cut. Parking entrance is narrow and parking is small. I think I'll feel comfortable parking on the street and walk there. Sandwiches sounded good so maybe I'll try Green Lantern Sandwich (crispy chicken with honey pesto slaw & pickles)

I don't know why it took us so long to get here but I wish I'd listened to my friends and tried this place ages ago, especially because it's so near my house! Parking lot was slightly tricky to get into at 530pm because we were making a left turn; it's better to come around the block from Nuuanu Ave and make a right turn so you don't have to wait. Once you go down the ramp the lot is fairly large and you can even reverse park (a Hawaii favorite!). There's a back door if you go upstairs from the parking lot and you walk to the front to order. Menu is on the wall, and seats are in that room, cute comic book decor and 50s napkin dispensers are on the tables. We ordered: teriburger, regular burger, and a Wagyuu, 2 wave fryders, and 2 drinks, and our total was about $42+tax. But onto the food. The brioche buns are grilled separately and vegetables added and wrapped for takeout, burgers cooked and packed separately, and rebuilt taste AMAZING! Fries are twisty and crispy (we added truffle salt at home) and go perfectly with the burgers. Everyone ate every bit of their food, needed a pile of napkins, and agreed we'd be back very soon. SO GOOD!

Wow what a super find and a Great Wagyu beef burger. This is right along Pauoa Road. Parking can be a challenge but there is some behind the bldg. My burger was great, my root beer float traditional and the fries outstanding. Lots and f burger choices, sandwich choices, and side choices. A must visit on your visit to town!

We were in the neighborhood and looking for a place to have lunch and this came up. As we drove by, we almost missed it. Its a tiny little hole in the wall in a building with several other businesses right next to the Pali Highway overpass. We parked and walked in. They had a decent selection of things to choose from, and interestingly enough, their menu changed while we were there - the kitchen ran out of some things and suddenly got others in stock. I think their menu generally stays pretty consistent, but I think they add new menu items periodically, so some things on the menu are fluid. We placed our order and waited. The restaurant is small but very good. We had to wait for people to leave before we could get a place to sit. As we looked around, we saw comic book covers and other similar things. It gave the place character, which was cool. Beyond that, at one point, the people working there went around and gave everyone an apron to make them look like a superhero to wear while they were there. It was fun! As for the food, I got the Teri[yaki] burger, which was a bit messy but very good. We also got an order of fries which were awesome. Everyone in my party enjoyed the place, and Im sure we'll be back at some point. The only thing we didnt like was the mashed potatoes; they were simply average, but everything else was great! I definitely look forward to going back here.

This review is long overdue (November 2016). Yeah I was slacking... Just thinking about it is making my mouth water. I will be back this year for sure as my wife and friends keep hearing me rant and rave about this place. When I went in, I met an energizer bunny named Marisa and she gave me the run down on the entire menu all while dressed stylishly in her Wonder Woman apron. The menu is broken down in sections. They have burgers, sandwiches (burgers are not the same as sandwiches) different toppings, features of the day aka specials, sides (Caesar salad, house salad, triforce potatoes, super smash brothers roasted garlic and truffle smashed potatoes), and a variety of cheeses. The way Marisa described everything made me excited to try everything on the menu. In fact I racked up a pretty hefty bill by the time I left. For starters, I tried their Juicy Burger ($7.50) which I was informed it takes two days to make as it is marinating in special mix to get all those flavors soaked into the meat. Next was the Teri Burger ($7.50). They actually use the same meat as the Juicy Burger but they put it into special house made teri sauce and let me tell you, it was to die for. Not too sweet but just right. Then it was on to the Wagyu Say specialty burger ($11). It is 100% Australian wagyu beef and has six different kinds of mushrooms whole grain mustard and a creamy horseradish. It too was YUMMY! Next time I come, I will am going to try the Un-Foie Gettable burger. I was also told that they had a treat for me as they had this apple pie they make and every time it sells out but they had two coming out of the oven so I had to wait a little bit and I was so glad that I did as it was a game changer for sure. I also met some of their friendly customers and since it was BYOB they had their favorite selection of adult beverages they brought and they even offered to share with me. What cool customers to match their cool workers. Only downside was that they didn't make fries. That was sad but they had other potato dishes that were good but I still wish they had fries.

We missed the turn into this place while looking for it, oops. The parking is very easy to miss, so drive slowly. The turn's also very sharp and I'm not sure if it can take big vehicles. The parking lot is tiny. Good thing we didn't drive the big truck. We ordered 4 different burgers to-go, the parmesan truffle fries, and the super smash brotatoes. The burgers: juicy burger, wagyu say?!, lamb bam thank ewe ma'am, and the un-foie-gettable. Each burger wow-ed us. There wasn't a single bite left, of any burger, and that says a lot. Each burger remained true to the integrity of the meat and the descriptions in the menu. There was not dry-ness and no soggy-bun business. They wrap everything individually and separately for your to-go order, hallelujah. The wave-fryders (garlic parmesan) were crispy and delicious to the last piece. We all eye-balled the last one and I'm not sure who ended up getting to eat it. The mashed potatoes were just okay...but I think it's because everything else was so dang delicious it just overpowered it. Bottom line: If you're craving a good burger, then the drive here is worth it. Next time, I'd like to dine in instead of take out, so I can enjoy the juicy burgers hot and fresh. Thank you, Burgers and Things for satisfying my burger craving.

Prime Rib Thursdays. I just happened to remember B & T's does a PR Thur tonight when Kar was not in the mood to go out. So I ordered over the phone a RARE PR and picked up at 5:30pm rushed it home. 40 secs in the micro for warm up and presto!! Really nice. Pictures are worth a 1000 words. btw: nice service and a friendly good bye...

Who would have known that on the 2nd floor of an apartment looking building would be burger heaven?? We scored parking in the lot & seats at the counter because it was a Sunday @ 5pm. The whimsical decor was fun. I enjoyed a deconstructed lamb burger with the sauce on the side because I wanted to be able to taste the lamb. It was juicy & delicious. The Chef is top notch making time consuming sauces for his creations. I added the au jus & bacon apple Maple JAM to half the burger. It was yummy tho kinda sweet. Would return for lunch so I may grab some cookies at Lynn's across the street. =)
